Miscellaneous fascia kits and designs I have made whilst at Alpine Electronics
Fascia design for Holden Commodore. The OEM head unit has integrated HVAC controls. We developed a HVAC control screen with a third party with a capacitive touch screen and soft-buttons for home, hazards, and sports screen.
The design is modular in that the top hood needs to be removed. If the customer purchases the larger floating display, the hood needs to be removed to fit it. This was challenging to make the hood look natural when in place and to adhere to the draft angle without compromising the design.
Rear shield to the HVAC unit doubles as a mounting solution for the fascia whilst shielding the vital components.
